Registered Practical Nurse - 12 Month Contract

Treat dermatological conditions including acne, eczema, rashes, skin cancer, hair loss, and infections while seeing up to 25 patients per 8-hour shift. Assist dermatologists during wide local excisions and other advanced procedures after receiving training in biopsy, suturing, and removals. Monitor and document patient symptoms, reactions, and progress while ensuring accurate charting and billing. Educate patients on self-care, medication management, wound care, and post-procedure recovery. Counsel patients confidentially on procedure details and risks, and ensure proper sterilization of equipment through medical device reprocessing. Maintain treatment room cleanliness and follow clinic protocols to prevent errors. Communicate effectively within the nursing team and participate in in-house and external training sessions. Perform other duties as assigned by management or the supervisory team.
