Job Summary
LPN Charge Nurse responsible for supervising and directing nursing care for residents, performing advanced observations, developing comprehensive care plans, administering medications, supervising nursing assistants, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and communicating with families, physicians and interdisciplinary teams. Requires supervision and leadership in a senior living setting, with duties including documentation, adherence to HIPAA and safety standards, and participation in staff meetings and quality improvement activities.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a vocational school of practical nursing
- Current Nurse License
- One to two years experience preferred
- English proficiency (read/write/speak)
- Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office Suite and Internet
