Respond promptly to customer service calls, conduct thorough inspections of plumbing issues, and accurately diagnose problems to offer effective solutions and estimates. Proficiently install and repair various fixtures including sinks, toilets, water heaters, and garbage disposal units, while performing sewer and drain cleaning in diverse environments such as basements and confined spaces. Prepare invoices totaling service costs, collect payment, and explain the Roto-Rooter guarantee to clients. Requires a valid driver's license, state plumbing license, and three years of repair and service experience. Offers a signing bonus of $2,000 paid in three installments, with average yearly commissioned earnings between $70,000 and $80,000.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- State plumbing license
- Three or more years of repair and service plumbing experience
- Proven track record in the sale of plumbing products and services
- Full knowledge of plumbing systems
- Excavation Certification through Competent Person Training (OSHA requirement)
- Journeyman license or equivalent certification as specified by the state
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in client and co-worker relations
