Job Summary
Respond promptly to customer service calls, conduct thorough inspections of plumbing issues, accurately diagnose problems, offer effective solutions and estimates, and successfully close service sales. Proficiently install and repair various fixtures including sinks, toilets, bathtubs, water heaters, garbage disposal units, dishwashers, and water softeners. Conduct sewer and drain cleaning services in diverse environments such as basements, roofs, confined spaces, and close quarters, ensuring thorough cleaning and restoration of work sites. Prepare invoices, collect payment, and explain the Roto-Rooter guarantee. Requires a valid Massachusetts state Journeyman plumbing license, three or more years of repair and service experience, and proven track record in sales. Weekly revenue expectations of $6500 with additional 10% bonus on revenue over $7000. Company provides van, purchase card, and fuel card.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Plumber
- Minimum Massachusetts state Journeyman plumbing license
- Valid driver's license
- State plumbing license
- Three or more years of repair and service plumbing experience
- Proven track record in the sale of plumbing products and services
- Full knowledge of plumbing systems
- Excavation Certification through Competent Person Training (OSHA requirement)
- Journeyman license or equivalent certification as specified by the state
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in client and co-worker relations
