Licensed Plumber

Receive electronic, verbal, or written instructions to complete plumbing work orders on a routine or emergency basis. Record start and finish times, provide job site comments, and perform repairs or installations for sinks, commodes, valves, water coolers, and damaged water lines. Measure, cut, thread, and prepare piping for replacement or new installations, while also handling minor electrical repairs, carpentry, lighting fixtures, drywall, and door hardware. Conduct daily building inspections, report findings, and oversee outside vendors as needed. Obtain materials from the warehouse, secure supplies from maintenance shops, and observe or report unusual situations to the Manager or Director of Facilities Operations. Make recommendations to improve methods and procedures, and rotate as necessary to cover various shifts.
