Job Summary
Diagnose, repair, and install residential and light commercial plumbing systems while troubleshooting issues and explaining solutions to customers. Perform service, maintenance, and installation work safely and efficiently, maintaining accurate job notes using company software and complying with the Ontario Plumbing Code. Communicate effectively with office staff and dispatch, ensuring a clean work area and vehicle during an on-call rotation. Maintain a fully stocked company service vehicle and represent the team professionally in every interaction.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed 306A Plumber in Ontario
- Valid G driver's licence with a clean driving record
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Comfortable using smartphones and mobile service software
- Ontario Certificate of Qualification (306A Plumbing Licence)
- Valid Working at Heights certification
- Minimum 3 years of plumbing experience following apprenticeship
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Simpro or similar field service software
- Experience in residential service plumbing
- WHMIS certification
- Experience with light commercial plumbing
- Experience in residential service plumbing preferred
- Experience with light commercial plumbing considered an asset
- Valid Working at Heights certification (or willingness to obtain)
