Job Summary
Establish 2-3 cases daily for each assigned market, ensuring attendance on all health plan and local calls. Provide delegated utilization management by covering specified territories, calling into weekly Primary Care Provider and Skilled Nursing Facility meetings. Advise other physician reviewers and coordinate care for patients while participating in process and quality improvement for delegated utilization management. Requires a valid unrestricted license, Board Certification in Urology, and two years of hospital medicine experience. This role supports ChenMed's mission to transform healthcare for seniors through primary care innovation.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from accredited Medical School
- Valid, unrestricted license
- Completion of Internal Medicine or Family Practice residency
- Board Certification in residency area - Urology
Desired Qualifications
- Two (2) years' experience in Hospital medicine
- At least one (1) year of utilization review experience
