Job Summary
The Licensed Physician will provide independent medical judgment regarding donor safety and health in a plasmapheresis setting. Responsibilities include supervising medical staff, ensuring compliance with federal and international regulations, overseeing donor interactions, conducting physical examinations, and delivering federally mandated training. The ideal candidate must demonstrate skills in managing donor reactions, reviewing lab results, and providing consultations on donor eligibility. The position requires a current medical license and relevant medical education.
Required Qualifications
- Current medical license in the state where the center operates
- Graduation from a licensed medical or osteopathic school
- Approval by the state licensing agency as the CLIA Laboratory Director, Clinical Consultant, and Technical Consultant for the donor center, as applicable
