Job Summary
Treat patients as directed by the Physical Therapist and adhere to facility documentation guidelines while recording treatments and progress notes in the medical record. Assist with cleaning and maintenance of the treatment area, maintain the department, and participate in Patient Care and Rehabilitation Conferences. Communicate with supervisors and health team members regarding patient progress, problems, and plans, and instruct patient families or nursing staff in maintenance programs. Record treatment charges per facility policy and procedures. Participate in training programs for other staff in the facility. This role supports short-term and long-term residents at a 99-bed facility in rural Tulare, CA, offering full-time day shift coverage from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with flexible scheduling and health insurance.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed by Physical Therapy Board of California (PTBC)
- Strong writing skills required for documentation of the care you provide
