Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant

Implement patient care based on the Physical Therapist's evaluation, involving the patient and family in planning and delivery. Deliver safe, appropriate, planned care with accurate documentation and communicate patient conditions to all involved parties. Document care, patient response, and changes to the plan of care while notifying the supervising therapist or physician of any status changes. Ensure a safe environment by maintaining clean treatment areas, reporting equipment concerns, and preparing supplies for treatments. Direct and support Rehab Techs and students, providing education and training as needed. Participate in department meetings and case conferences to maintain knowledge for effective patient care.
