Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with functional limitations, crafting individualized treatment plans grounded in clinical assessment. Implement evidence-based protocols tailored to specific needs, continuously monitoring progress and adjusting interventions based on emerging trends. Manage discharge planning and aftercare while documenting treatment histories to ensure continuity of care. Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration with healthcare providers to optimize outcomes and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. Adhere to state practice acts and laws governing physical therapy practice. Operate Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM within a collaborative outpatient orthopedic facility in Cypress, Florida.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program.
- Active state licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT).
- A minimum of two years of outpatient orthopedic experience.
- Current CPR certification.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems for documentation purposes.
