Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patient conditions, assessing range of motion and physical capabilities through hands-on techniques and diagnostic assessments. Design individualized rehabilitation programs based on patient needs, utilizing evidence-based methodologies and progressive therapy plans. Monitor patient progress meticulously, adapting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal recovery outcomes. Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, home exercise programs, and lifestyle modifications to enhance rehabilitation and prevent future injuries. Document patient evaluations, treatments, and outcomes with accuracy and compliance, maintaining up-to-date records in aligned electronic health systems. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care. Work with individuals recovering from orthopedic procedures, sports injuries, neurological disorders, and chronic pain conditions across diverse age demographics.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current licensure in the state of Florida or eligibility to obtain licensure soon
- Strong clinical reasoning and documentation skills reflective of best practices in physical therapy
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Physical Therapist, with a focus on outpatient rehabilitation
