Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments by consulting with patients to evaluate physical condition and symptoms. Diagnose movement dysfunctions and develop individualized treatment plans targeting specific rehabilitation goals. Implement therapeutic exercises, provide manual techniques such as massage, and assist patients with mobility aids to improve independence. Maintain detailed patient records tracking progress toward rehabilitation goals and educate families on in-home treatment options and lifestyle modifications. This full-time onsite role at Comfort Orthoprime Clinic in Manassas, Virginia, features a Monday-to-Friday schedule with flexible hours. The team collaborates with board-certified professionals to deliver evidence-based therapy to diverse populations, including children and adults managing chronic pain, postoperative recovery, and sports injuries.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
- A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective patient interaction and documentation.
- Proficiency in computer skills, particularly in word processing and electronic medical record systems.
- A willingness to learn, adapt, and employ flexible strategies in patient treatment.
