Job Summary
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to prevent disabilities, alleviate pain, and restore function for clients based on physician prescriptions. Conduct comprehensive evaluations utilizing diagnostic testing for muscle, nerve, joint, and functional abilities. Administer therapeutic interventions including manual therapy, exercises, and physical agents like ultrasound and electrical stimulation. Oversee Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure accurate execution of care plans and document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries. Engage with an interdisciplinary team through case conferences and address home environments to facilitate rehabilitation goals. Provide education to patients and families regarding techniques and wellness strategies. Monday through Friday schedule at our Arlington, Virginia Rehabilitation Center. Full-time position with a salary of $100,000 to $120,000.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience in physical therapy, preferably in an acute care or home health setting
- Current Physical Therapy licensure in good standing in the state of Virginia
- Current CPR certification
- A valid driver's license with automobile insurance
- A passion for clinical excellence and a strong commitment to patient-centered care
