Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to assess physical abilities and limitations, then develop and adjust individualized treatment plans utilizing manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and specialized equipment. Educate patients, families, and healthcare professionals on prescribed techniques and assistive devices while monitoring progress and documenting outcomes meticulously. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians and occupational therapists to align rehabilitation strategies for optimal patient recovery. Work onsite at our rehabilitation center serving diverse populations recovering from surgery, injury, and chronic conditions, with a focus on both pediatric and adult patients.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in using clinical documentation software and standard office software applications
- A flexible and adaptive approach to working with diverse patient populations and treatment plans
