Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine the need for orthopedic physical therapy, then develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with physician care goals. Provide hands-on therapeutic modalities, skilled manual therapy techniques, and educational guidance to promote patient self-management. Equip patients and families with in-home treatment protocols and exercise regimens aimed at accelerating recovery. Document and communicate treatment progress, outcomes, and necessary adjustments to ensure all treating medical professionals are informed. This outpatient role serves orthopedic patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- A valid and active Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida
- A minimum of three years of clinical experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting
- Mandatory certifications in First Aid, AED, and CPR
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Proficiency in using various therapeutic equipment
- Strong communication skills to convey complex medical information effectively
- Location: Saint Cloud, Florida
