Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess physical capabilities and limitations, then develop and implement tailored treatment plans including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities. Monitor and document patient progress meticulously while adjusting strategies to achieve optimal outcomes for individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain. Educate patients and families on injury prevention and home rehabilitation techniques, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- A completed Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Current active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Nevada
- A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting
Desired Qualifications
- A Master's degree or Doctorate
- Experience working in outpatient orthopedics
- Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and treatment techniques
- Ability to engage and motivate patients effectively
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
