Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate physical conditions and movement limitations. Develop and implement tailored treatment plans utilizing therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities. Provide education on body mechanics, home exercises, and self-management strategies. Monitor patient progress over time, adjusting approaches to achieve optimal outcomes. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to discuss care strategies. Work on-site Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a diverse orthopedic patient population.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- A current physical therapy license or eligibility to obtain licensure in the state of Nevada
- A commitment to delivering patient care that promotes healing, independence, and enhanced quality of life
- A minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting
Desired Qualifications
- A Master's or Doctorate
- A strong background in manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription
- Experience with electronic medical record systems and patient management software
