Job Summary
Assess and diagnose patient needs to craft individualized treatment plans addressing mobility challenges and health goals. Conduct physical therapy interventions utilizing expertise in orthopedic care, implementing non-surgical and evidence-based treatments to restore motion while minimizing medication reliance. Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting plans based on evaluations and feedback, and educate patients on self-management strategies to enhance recovery outcomes. Document all treatment and progress accurately using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, including Web PT, and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate comprehensive care. Work onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Lehigh Acres, Florida, from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications
- Active and valid Physical Therapist license in the State of Florida
- No history of sanctions or board proceedings
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- Exceptional manual therapy skills
- Solid foundation in developing tailored exercise programs
- Strong proficiency in using EMR systems, particularly Web PT
- Dedication to staying informed on the latest research and methodologies in physical therapy
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting
- Experience with sports rehabilitation techniques
- Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate patients through personalized rehabilitation plans
