Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' conditions to develop individualized treatment plans, then implement evidence-based hands-on therapeutic techniques and modalities to enhance recovery. Lead tailored therapeutic exercise sessions for individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders while educating families on injury prevention strategies. Maintain accurate documentation of progress and collaborate with physicians and occupational therapists to ensure integrated care approaches. Participate in case reviews and team meetings to adapt treatment plans as necessary. Work on-site Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's or higher degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Active Nevada Physical Therapy license, or eligibility to obtain one
- A strong commitment to patient-centered care and evidence-based practices
- Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with diverse patient populations and foster supportive relationships
- Proficient in using rehabilitation technology and electronic health record (EHR) systems
Desired Qualifications
- At least 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting
- Previous experience with manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise programming
- Experience in utilizing outcome measures to assess improvements in patient function
