Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient evaluations to create customized treatment plans for adults and seniors recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, or chronic pain. Implement evidence-based interventions including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities while monitoring progress to adapt plans as needed. Educate patients on injury prevention and biomechanics, and collaborate with physicians and rehabilitation aides to ensure comprehensive care. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM in an outpatient orthopedic setting equipped with state-of-the-art tools.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field
- A valid Nevada Physical Therapy license
- Ability to secure a Nevada Physical Therapy license prior to starting
Desired Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy
- At least two years of direct experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Experience working in a closely-knit team environment that prioritizes collaboration and communication
