Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient evaluations to determine the need for orthopedic physical therapy and formulate individualized treatment plans. Implement high-quality patient care by administering assessments, developing evidence-based treatment strategies, and educating patients and families about recovery processes. Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques and modalities tailored to each patient's unique conditions while monitoring progress and adapting strategies as necessary. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and document all interactions accurately in the electronic health record system. Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient cases and clinic initiatives. This role supports orthopedic patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions within our outpatient facility in Apopka, Florida.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited physical therapy program or equivalent
- Valid and active Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida
- A minimum of 3 years of experience working in an outpatient setting, focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation
- Current certifications in First Aid, AED, and CPR
- Strong proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems

- Experience working with advanced rehabilitative technologies, such as specialized exercise equipment or telehealth platforms
- Demonstrated ability to create and implement successful treatment protocols based on patient feedback and clinical outcomes
