Job Summary
Examine, evaluate, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients facing functional limitations due to injury or illness. Conduct thorough assessments and implement treatment strategies, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities as indicated. Effectively communicate with patients and their families about treatment options, expected outcomes, and progress. Document patient evaluations, treatments, and discharge plans in compliance with applicable laws and organizational standards. Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care and participate in community outreach initiatives and educational workshops. Supervise and mentor assigned support staff, including physical therapist assistants and students. Stay current with best practices through continuing education and maintain an organized caseload meeting productivity benchmarks. This full-time role is onsite in Newark, NJ, with a salary of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in utilizing electronic health records (EHR) systems and other relevant software
