Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including medical history reviews and clinical assessments, to formulate personalized treatment plans. Collaborate with patients and families to explain findings and set goals, while implementing effective treatment protocols aligned with best practices. Consult with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to optimize outcomes and modify plans as needed. Document all care activities accurately and facilitate discharge planning with appropriate follow-up resources. Serve diverse populations recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, surgeries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain in an outpatient setting. Requires Virginia licensure and a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist in Virginia
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to assess and adapt treatment plans based on patient progress and needs
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in an outpatient setting
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and documentation software
- Background in conducting specialized therapy programs such as aquatic therapy or functional movement training
