Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans for orthopedic conditions, ranging from post-operative rehabilitation to chronic pain management. Implement evidence-based protocols utilizing manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation. Monitor progress by documenting sessions accurately and adjusting care plans based on ongoing assessments. Collaborate with physicians to coordinate optimal care and educate patients on diagnosis, treatment options, and home exercise programs. Maintain compliance with state regulations while participating in quality improvement initiatives and staff meetings. Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm in Keansburg, New Jersey.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- A valid state license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey
- A current CPR certification
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and colleagues, fostering a welcoming and collaborative environment
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of outpatient orthopedic experience with a proven track record of positive patient outcomes
- Experience utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient documentation and patient management
- Knowledge of current trends and techniques in physical therapy treatment and rehabilitation
