Job Summary
Conduct thorough initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to determine patient movement dysfunctions, then create personalized treatment plans encompassing manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities for pain relief. Guide patients through rehabilitation exercises with hands-on support while maintaining detailed documentation of progress in compliance with clinic protocols. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians and occupational therapists during regular case reviews to optimize patient outcomes for those recovering from orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, and post-surgical procedures. Operate Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at our Estero, Florida outpatient clinic.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Active Florida Physical Therapy license or eligibility for licensure
- Demonstrated proficiency in conducting patient assessments and developing comprehensive treatment plans
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care with a focus on improving health outcomes
- On-site work at the Estero location
- Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM schedule
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy practice
- Familiarity with WebPT EMR or similar electronic medical record systems
- Experience with various therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation techniques
