Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations through detailed case history, physical assessments, and diagnostic tests to develop customized treatment plans tailored to individual needs. Implement therapeutic interventions according to established protocols while monitoring patient progress and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on evolving patient conditions. Document all patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner using electronic health record (EHR) systems. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care and participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to share insights and strategies. Engage in ongoing education and compliance training with regulations set by state and federal bodies to maintain the highest standards of practice in patient care. This role focuses primarily on orthopedic populations, including post-operative patients, individuals recovering from injury, and those managing chronic pain conditions. Working onsite at the outpatient office Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, the position requires a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) and active state licensure in New Jersey.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Active state licensure to practice Physical Therapy in New Jersey
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting, particularly in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation
