Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients, develop customized treatment plans, and implement therapy protocols aligned with clinical guidelines. Document all interactions accurately and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to discuss progress and adjust goals. Engage in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions to home or follow-up care. Treat orthopedic populations, including post-surgical individuals, chronic pain patients, and athletes, through targeted exercises and manual therapy. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- A valid physical therapy license issued by the State of Florida
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
- minimum of two years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist
Desired Qualifications
- experience in orthopedic outpatient therapy
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
