Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments of each patient's physical condition to develop tailored treatment plans that align with recovery objectives. Implement hands-on therapy techniques to improve mobility, alleviate pain, and facilitate engagement in everyday activities for geriatric patients recovering from surgeries, post-stroke rehabilitation, and chronic pain. Instruct and coach patients and their families on appropriate home exercises and lifestyle modifications to promote continued progress. Maintain accurate patient records ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care plans.
Required Qualifications
- Possession of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Valid Oregon Physical Therapy license
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a relevant setting
Desired Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy
- Strong competence in manual therapy techniques and therapeutic modalities
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
- experience with WebPT
- Maintain a clean and active professional license throughout employment
- Experience working with geriatric populations, particularly in rehabilitation settings
- A background in developing successful rehabilitation programs tailored to individual patient needs
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-focused environment that emphasizes collaboration and communication
