Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient evaluations to determine physical therapy needs, then design and implement customized treatment plans using evidence-based practices. Monitor and document patient progress meticulously while adjusting interventions to optimize rehabilitation outcomes. Provide hands-on therapy, educate patients on injury prevention, and empower them with self-management strategies. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, patients, and families to ensure comprehensive care for individuals recovering from surgery, injuries, and chronic conditions. Maintain current professional knowledge through continuing education and workshops.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in using electronic health records and other common software tools utilized in the therapy process
- A proactive mindset and flexibility to adapt to the varying needs of our patients
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as a physical therapist
- Experience working in a rehabilitation facility or outpatient setting
- Certifications in specialty areas of physical therapy
