Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients with orthopedic conditions, post-surgical recovery, and sports injuries. Develop, implement, and adjust personalized treatment plans utilizing manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training. Educate patients and families on movement mechanics and safe exercise techniques while documenting progress in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system. Collaborate with orthopedic physicians to ensure coordinated care for elderly individuals in home-based settings. Work Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, managing approximately 35 visits per week.
Required Qualifications
- A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Oregon
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting
- Exceptional communication skills
- A demonstrated ability to build rapport with patients and their families
- A strong understanding of developing and implementing patient-specific treatment plans tailored to individual needs
- A true passion for physical therapy
- A commitment to empowering patients through effective rehabilitation
- The ability to work autonomously
- The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in an Assisted Living Facility
