Job Summary
Evaluate and assess patients referred by physicians to develop individualized treatment plans. Implement therapeutic interventions including manual therapy, exercise, and modalities aligned with rehabilitation goals. Educate patients and caregivers on treatment processes and self-care strategies to promote autonomy. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary health team to enhance treatment efficacy and meet patient satisfaction targets. Deliver superior customer service in a patient-centered outpatient environment serving diverse populations from pediatric care to orthopedic and neurological recovery.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by the APTA or CAPTE
- A valid state license in Physical Therapy for Virginia
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Proficiency in using word processing and electronic health records software
