Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical abilities and functional limitations to design tailored treatment plans for restoring functionality. Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions utilizing manual therapy techniques and evidence-based practices while monitoring progress to adjust plans as necessary. Collaborate regularly with occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care across a diverse population recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and neurological conditions. Manage patient volumes averaging 1 to 2 per hour in a state-of-the-art rehabilitation environment focused on personalized treatment.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- Active license to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Colorado
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting
Desired Qualifications
- A Master's or Doctorate degree
- Proficiency in manual therapy techniques
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation facility
- Background in implementing innovative therapeutic practices and methodologies
- Knowledge of specialized treatment programs for specific patient demographics
