Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical capabilities to create individualized treatment plans. Deliver hands-on therapy using manual techniques and exercise prescriptions to improve strength, flexibility, and mobility. Empower patients and families with education on rehabilitation strategies and home exercises. Maintain accurate records in the electronic medical records system for continuity of care. Stay informed on evidence-based practices to integrate modern techniques into therapeutic approaches. Work onsite at the rehabilitation facility in Shrewsbury, NJ, serving patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological conditions, and chronic injuries.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- Current New Jersey State Physical Therapist License in good standing
- Proficient in the application of manual therapy techniques with a patient-centered approach
Desired Qualifications
- A Master's Degree or Doctorate
- At least 2 years of clinical experience
- Familiarity with EMR systems, such as WebPT
- Experience working in a rehabilitation facility or similar setting
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
- Keen interest in ongoing professional development and pursuing continuing education opportunities
