Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients presenting various physical conditions to formulate personalized treatment plans. Implement and monitor therapeutic interventions including exercises, modalities, and manual therapy techniques to address mobility limitations and alleviate pain. Regularly collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive treatment pathways. Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques, proactive home exercise programs, and strategies for long-term health maintenance. Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation regarding patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with healthcare regulations. Work full-time, onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. Candidates must hold a current Physical Therapist license in Missouri and CPR certification.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
- A current Physical Therapist license in Missouri or capability to secure licensure prior to your start date
- Certification in CPR
- A strong foundation in both communication and organizational skills
- A proven ability to function independently while also thriving in a multidisciplinary team setting
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy
- Clinical experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as WebPT or Epic
- A background in sports rehabilitation or preparation for board certification in Orthopedics (OCS)
- Interest or qualifications in specialty techniques such as dry needling or manual therapy
