Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, develop individualized treatment programs encompassing manual therapy and therapeutic exercise, and adjust plans based on progress. Collaborate with physicians and occupational therapists to ensure integrated care while providing patient education and maintaining accurate documentation. Manage diverse populations including orthopedic patients, athletes, and neurologically impaired clients to support their recovery journey. Meet established utilization goals and contribute to clinic performance metrics.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program
- A valid State License to practice physical therapy in California
- A Basic Life Support Certification obtained through the American Heart Association
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in word processing and electronic health record systems
- The ability to build strong therapeutic relationships with patients
- A positive and proactive attitude
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in diverse practice settings (hospital, outpatient, home health)
- Advanced skills in specific treatment techniques, such as orthotic fitting or dry needling
