Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with various physical conditions that limit mobility and daily function. Design and implement personalized treatment plans focused on improving mobility, alleviating pain, and preventing long-term physical disabilities. Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care. Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, home exercise programs, and long-term wellness strategies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in compliance with all state and federal regulations. Serve an outpatient clientele consisting of individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions affecting musculoskeletal health.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- Current Physical Therapist license in Missouri or the ability to obtain one before the start date
- CPR certification
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy
- Board certification in Orthopedics (OCS) or a commitment to pursuing such certification
- Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as WebPT or Epic
- Interest or specialization in areas such as sports rehabilitation, manual therapy, or advanced techniques like dry needling or McKenzie Method
