Job Summary
Deliver high-quality, individualized physical therapy services to an assigned caseload, conducting thorough patient assessments and collaborating with physicians and nursing staff to develop effective care plans. Implement therapeutic interventions that enhance function and mobility while alleviating pain, and facilitate patient education on exercises, assistive devices, and wellness strategies. Manage daily caseloads by prioritizing tasks and coordinating care to maintain seamless operations within the rehabilitation center, documenting all interactions accurately per state regulations. This full-time role requires a Connecticut license and DPT degree, with BCLS certification needed within 30 days.
Required Qualifications
- valid Physical Therapy license to practice in Connecticut
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
- must be able to lift 50 lbs
