Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to set recovery goals, develop personalized treatment plans utilizing therapeutic exercises and manual therapy, and provide hands-on therapy in clinical settings or patients' homes. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to adjust interventions based on evidence-based practices and consult with caregivers on home exercise programs. Manage diverse patient populations including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
- A valid State License to practice Physical Therapy in Virginia.
- Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
- A dedication to building strong relationships with patients to support continued improvement and functional success.
- minimum of 2 years of clinical experience
