Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient evaluations by reviewing medical histories and performing physical assessments to identify mobility issues. Collaboratively develop personalized treatment plans involving patients and families, then implement evidence-based protocols including therapeutic exercises and patient education. Engage in interdisciplinary consultations, document care activities and discharge summaries to maintain compliance, and manage time effectively to meet productivity targets. Serve as a clinical instructor for incoming students and contribute to community outreach efforts to remove barriers to care. Work with diverse outpatient populations recovering from surgery, chronic pain, or sports injuries within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Possession of a valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association
