Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, identifying specific needs and setting achievable goals for recovery. Design and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect evidence-based practices, adapting as necessary to meet patient progress. Employ a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities to address the unique needs of your diverse patient base, including orthopedic, neurological, pediatric, and sports-related conditions. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to enhance the patient care experience and guide patients and caregivers on home care practices and post-treatment exercise regimens. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment results in compliance with professional standards while meeting established utilization goals. Work onsite at our Winchester facility Monday through Friday for 40 hours weekly.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from a program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) or CAPTE
- A valid license to practice physical therapy in the state of Virginia
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) from the American Heart Association
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective patient interaction and documentation
- Proficient computer skills for maintaining electronic medical records and communication
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist
