Job Summary
Consult patients on physical condition and symptoms, then assess movement dysfunctions to formulate individualized treatment plans. Implement therapeutic exercises, administer hands-on treatments like stimulation and massage, and assist patients with mobility equipment. Maintain accurate patient records documenting goals and progress while educating families on at-home treatment options. Work onsite at the Arlington, Virginia rehabilitation center, consulting with patients to gather comprehensive information on their physical condition and symptoms.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
- Current and valid physical therapy license in the state of Virginia.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.
- A high degree of flexibility and agility to adapt to the dynamic nature of patient care.
- Monday to Friday framework
- Onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Arlington, Virginia
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of experience working as a physical therapist in a clinical setting.
- Experience in rehabilitative therapies and familiarity with evidence-based practices.
- Prior experience working in a multidisciplinary team alongside other healthcare professionals
