Job Summary
Evaluate and assess patients' objectives, needs, and progress to customize appropriate therapy plans for orthopedic issues including post-operative recovery, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Administer evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve range of motion, mobility, and function while managing a caseload of one patient per hour. Create and implement comprehensive care plans incorporating various treatment modalities, motivate patients to actively participate, and document all treatment services, evaluations, and progress using WebPT EMR Software. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide a multidisciplinary approach and educate patients on preventative measures and proactive exercises. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- Valid Virginia licensure as a Physical Therapist
- No history of disciplinary actions against the license
- Strong foundation in manual therapy techniques
- Evidence-based practice
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to foster positive patient relationships
- Proficiency in utilizing technological tools, specifically WebPT EMR Software

- Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting
- Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations
- Experience in developing and implementing fitness and wellness programs tailored to individual needs
