Job Summary
Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients with diverse functional limitations, developing tailored treatment plans based on individual assessments. Implement evidence-based treatment protocols that align with state practice acts and adapt to evolving healthcare needs. Document patient care activities with precision, including initial evaluations, ongoing treatment plans, and discharge summaries. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to address patient needs and modify treatment plans as necessary. Provide education and support to patients and families regarding exercise programs and rehabilitation techniques. Participate in facility meetings to discuss patient care strategies and enhance operational efficiencies while maintaining compliance with all regulations. Schedule runs Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- A valid physical therapy license issued by the state of New Jersey
- Two (2) years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting
- Current certification in CPR

- Additional certifications in specialized therapeutic techniques, such as sports therapy or manual therapy
- An understanding of current trends and innovations in physical therapy practices
