Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient goals and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to orthopedic needs. Manage a caseload efficiently, providing detailed attention to one patient per hour while utilizing manual therapy techniques and exercise protocols to improve range of motion and strength. Design comprehensive care plans using advanced sports medicine modalities, continuously evaluate outcomes to adjust interventions, and document progress meticulously in the WebPT electronic medical record system. Provide evidence-based education on lifestyle modifications to support recovery. Work Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM in a state-of-the-art 5,000 square foot facility serving patients recovering from sports injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions.
Required Qualifications
- An earned Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
- A valid California Physical Therapist license with no recent disciplinary actions.
- Strong experience and proficiency in orthopedic outpatient therapy, particularly with manual therapy techniques.
- Exceptional skills in developing exercise protocols that cater to diverse patient needs.
- Proficiency using electronic medical records software, especially WebPT, for efficient documentation and patient care management.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a sports medicine or orthopedic rehab setting is highly desired.
- Demonstrated capability in patient education and wellness program development.
