Job Summary
Assess individual patient goals and limitations to implement comprehensive rehabilitation programs addressing range of motion and functional mobility. Manage a caseload of one patient per hour while creating tailored fitness and wellness plans that integrate active rehabilitation strategies. Reduce medication reliance through alternative treatment approaches and evaluate treatment outcomes regularly to adjust care plans based on progress. Maintain accurate records ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals for holistic care. Work onsite within a modern sports medicine facility Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
- A valid Physical Therapist license in California.
- A clear professional record with no historical disciplinary actions on the license.
- Strong expertise in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based treatment practices.
- Exceptional abilities in creating and implementing effective exercise protocols tailored to individual needs.
- Proficiency using electronic medical record (EMR) software, specifically WebPT.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient or home care setting
- Utilization of active rehabilitation strategies that involve patient education and self-management techniques
- A strong understanding of building and maintaining therapeutic relationships with patients to enhance engagement and accountability in their care
