Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients with orthopedic issues, post-surgical rehabilitation, and sports-related injuries. Design and implement tailored treatment plans utilizing therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and functional training to improve mobility. Educate patients and families on movement mechanics and preventative strategies while maintaining accurate documentation in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system. Collaborate with orthopedic physicians and healthcare aides to streamline care for geriatric clients in home settings. Requires a Florida Physical Therapy license, DPT degree, and at least two years of experience. Full-time role in Gainesville, FL with a salary of $90,000 to $120,000.
Required Qualifications
- A current and valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida
- Completion of a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent from an accredited institution
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Capable of developing and executing patient-specific treatment plans
- Ability to work independently while effectively contributing to a cohesive team environment
