Job Summary
Provide direct inpatient physical therapy care to patients in need of rehabilitation, supervising treatments, leading patient assessments, and creating personalized care plans while building meaningful relationships to support recovery. This role supports part-time and PRN schedules at Encompass Health’s inpatient rehabilitation facilities, with benefits beginning day one and opportunities for professional growth. CPR certification and state licensure are required, with a Master’s degree preferred (or Bachelor’s degree with sufficient experience). Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification as required by state regulations
- CPR certification
- Master‘s Degree preferred, or Bachelor‘s Degree plus sufficient experience
- Be able to provide direct inpatient care to patients in need of physical therapy
- Supervising care and treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans
- Strong patient-relations and communication skills
- Experience or ability to work in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
- Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development
