Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments of patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical evidence. Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, implementing therapeutic interventions to improve motion, flexibility, and functional abilities using manual therapy techniques. Document progress meticulously in WebPT while providing patient education on health and wellness practices. Collaborate regularly with healthcare professionals to create integrated care plans and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey. This full-time role involves onsite coverage Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM at White Health Youth and Family Services in Niagara Falls, NY, focusing on orthopedic conditions and evidence-based modalities.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New York
- No history of disciplinary measures against the license
- Proven expertise in manual therapy
- Ability to develop individualized exercise regimens
- Familiarity with EMR software, specifically WebPT
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting
- Experience in implementing innovative treatment methodologies that aid patients in reaching their rehabilitation goals
