Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical abilities to devise effective treatment strategies, then design and implement individualized plans utilizing exercise therapy, manual therapy, and therapeutic equipment. Monitor and document patient progress while adjusting goals as required, and educate patients and families about recovery strategies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve outcomes and maintain licensure through continuing education. This full-time role is onsite at our rehabilitation facility in Sayreville, New Jersey. We serve a diverse population including children, adults, and elderly clients, offering a supportive culture focused on holistic rehabilitation and professional development.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
- Current and valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Onsite work at the rehabilitation facility in Sayreville, New Jersey.
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in a rehabilitation or outpatient setting.
- Experience working with varied patient populations, preferably in both pediatric and adult care.
- Background in developing and implementing treatment plans that involve evidence-based practices.
